Latina expert in personal finance is featured in Hispanic media for her impact on the community.

Elaine King, a top Latina financial expert, analyzes the reasons why people may feel uncomfortable in their job, but stay because they need the salary. She explains that managing finances periodically and improving our relationship with money will enable us to move out of uncomfortable situations and avoid financial stress.

Elaine's methodology and strategies were highlighted in leading media this quarter, where she shared tips on how to manage finances and improve our relationship with money.

A columnist for financial magazines in the U.S. and Latin America, Elaine King was interviewed on CNN dinero and shared key strategies on how to allocate part of their income for growth. As she frequently reminds us; we must review our budget and eliminate unnecessary expenses.

She was also asked about job dissatisfaction in the U.S., to which she recommends that, to get out of uncomfortable situations at work, the first thing we must know is whether we are there because we need the salary or because we are passionate about the job. If it is because of finances, then we can complement it with activities that give us happiness and be aware

that we are working for the money temporarily. The second step is to know that the company's values align with our own and provide opportunities for personal development. And the third is to be realistic about what we need. For example, if we want to double the salary, we need more education.

A Certified Financial Planner Ambassador, Elaine has worked with over 1200 families creating their personalized financial plans and, through her vast experience, has seen that many people get stuck because they can't see the big picture. The best solution is to make a timeline that allows them to plan and prepare to get to that dream job

Also, in the Ante Usted show, King says that, to reduce financial stress, we must organize and understand finances, set up a budget and know what is being earned and what is being spent, to achieve a better relationship with our finances. Understanding the purpose of our money is very important, especially when doing family finances. As a guest expert on Dr. Eduardo López-Navarro's program Salud al día, she advises that couples should get into the habit of talking about finances to improve their relationship with money.

Elaine has been recently invited to participate in programs and newscasts for Telemundo television network to advise about  back-to-school savings, how to buy a house, , the cost of a divorce, as well as the inflation rate in the U.S., and the most common mistakes made by entrepreneurs.

She has also collaborated as a columnist in the renowned Peruvian media Perú21, in which she talks about how to preserve and grow bonuses. Read the full column here
