**According to Mohamed Yumus, winner of a Nobel Peace Prize and creator of Microcredit, women are better at managing money.** In terms of expenditures, investments and savings, women are wise and think ahead. In fact, microcredits are granted to 90% of women who apply for one. Think that’s a coincidence?

But what are the traits that make us good administrators? Check out this short list:

## 1. Our Friend, Multi-tasking:

Multi-tasking is a very specific part of our brain called the Corpus Callosum, and is a structure that connects the two cerebral hemispheres. Let’s say that our Corpus Callosum is a broad path with four channels, while theirs is just a small two-channel avenue. That means that we can do many things at once with a good chance of doing them well. That’s why we can handle managing the rent, college and house expenses and paying off debts all at the same time.

## 2. Longevity:

According to the WHO, the difference in life expectancy between men and women is six years in high-income countries and three years in low-income ones. And this is associated with a large number of variables that make us reliable in economic matters.

## 3. Emotional Intelligence:

On average, women have a better emotional intelligence than men. Women are usually more empathic and can read what a person says with their body language. This makes us masters at uncovering deception and the bad intentions of some people. At the same time, it gives us a sixth sense as to if it’s prudent to take a credit or not.

So, if you’re looking for a financial advisor, go to your mom, your partner, your grandmother and even to your daughters first. You could learn a lot from them.
