# Elaine King, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and Expert, Helps the South Florida Community

Elaine King, an expert in family finances, has recently been featured for her skill in guiding women through financial dilemmas including a potential marital separation.
In September, King participated as an expert in finances at the first virtual Divorce Prep Summit. The event involved various other leading professionals in South Florida such as family lawyers, Sandra Hoyos and Jordan Abramowitz, top forensic accountant Philip Schechter, and the most sought-after family mediator attorney in Florida, Alison Weinger.
At the event, participants could ask the experts questions related to separation and divorce planning. Since the lockdown and turmoil of the Coronavirus Pandemic, divorce rates have nearly doubled in the United States, leading people to show an increased interest in understanding the financial aspects of divorce.
